The ways that the worlds of work and social life are built make it hard for us to take part in the ways we might want to. Our lives can become very narrow, and we can end up feeling isolated and alone.
Even with so much moving online during the COVID pandemic, we still have limitations on our energy and focus which can make it hard to fully participate, even without the drain of travel.
For most of us, the less we have the kind of social contact we want to have, and the less we feel we're contributing in some way, the more stress, anxiety and depression we experience. And the more stress, anxiety and depression we experience, the worse our symptoms are, making it even harder to take action.
We Make The Path is here to support you to break that negative cycle through different layers of support.
What We Do
There are three ways to connect with us and get support
Our Pathmakers Community is a free online space for chronically ill people to connect with one another, and to bring their thoughts, feelings, questions and celebrations to add to the pot. The community is mainly text-based, but membership also includes a standing invitation to a live monthly self-care check-in, via Zoom video and text chat, at no cost.
One to one work with We Make The Path offers a dedicated space in which you can feel safe to explore and unfold your experiences and beliefs, desires and limits.
It can help you to become more skilled in discernment, more deeply rooted in your self, and more confident in making choices about who you are, what you want, your place in the world, and what you will create.
