  • Living with chronic illness can be hard

and not just because of our symptoms

  • The ways that the worlds of work and social life are built make it hard for us to take part and to contribute.

Our lives can become very narrow: we can end up feeling isolated and alone.

The less we have the kind of social contact we want, and the less we feel we're contributing in some way, the more stress, anxiety and depression we experience. And the more stress, anxiety and depression we experience, the worse our symptoms are, making it even harder to take action.

We Make The Path is here to support you to break that negative cycle through different layers of support.

  • What We Do

There are three ways to connect with us and get support

    broken image

    Pathmakers Community

Our Pathmakers Community is a free online space for chronically ill people to connect with one another, and to bring their thoughts, feelings, questions and celebrations to share. The community is mainly text-based, but membership also includes a monthly live self-care check-in, via Zoom video and text chat, at no cost.

    Action Support Group

The aim of Action Support Group is to support chronically ill people to do something that's important to them.

Every person in the group focuses on making progress at their own pace, in their own way, on their own thing, learning to flow and work with their own capacities and needs.
