Themed work led by chronically ill people

  • Themed projects emerge from wants and needs expressed by participants in our one to one coaching and action learning cohorts. They are led by chronically ill people themselves, and remain focused on their experiences, wants and needs, but are open to everyone.

  • A photograph of a Japanese maple tree. The trunk of the tree is sinuous, with many branches spreading all over the pictures. They sport bright orange leaves. Some of them have fallen at the foot of the tree as well. There is a pond in the background, its bank covered with green moss and its water dark. The image conveys resilience and a sense of peace.

    Resilient Activists

Many of us are committed to doing what we can to move the world towards justice, love, and liberation. But often we don't have access to the emotional support, anxiety-free learning, and deep inner nourishment to be clear, confident and joyful in our activism.

Resilient Activists brings the wisdom of chronically ill people to bear on how we can work towards the world we want, for our lifetime, not just until we burn out.

Photograph of the right arm of a white person wearing a light-gray whool sweater. The person holds a blue pen in their hand and appears to be writing. There are many handwritten papers and open notebooks on their desk, as well as a blurry mug in the background. The image conveys a sense of cozy focus.

    Creative Writing Mentoring

Creative writing is a means of expression that can be accessed by many chronically ill people, even when other outlets like crafts aren't possible.

Creative writing mentoring is offered by Ether Nepenthes. They focus on development of themes, dialogue, pacing, imagery, and help people feel more secure in their writing.

Photograph of a silver, full moon surrounded by a halo of night clouds. The picture conveys a majestic yet contemplative vibes.

    Hidden Moon Studio

Hidden Moon Studio is a game studio owned and run by chronically ill people.

Currently in production is Goblin Gardens, a peaceful tea-brewing, herb-gathering, community-building game, featuring goblins, rodents, and witches.

Also in early stage development is Spoonful, a game with a mechanic based on the experience of living with chronic illness.
